(So why the question mark? Well we tried to go camping this Labor Day weekend and failed to check the weather. We intended to be there two nights but after the rain we bailed Sunday night and went home.)
We went camping up American Fork Canyon last weekend with our friends the Blakelys. Saturday was beautiful, the kids shot BB guns, rode bikes and adventured down trails. The parents of course set up, cooked and cleaned.... why do we do this again?
Saturday night the wind was blowing and the rain coming down. Sunday morning it cleared up so we went to Cascade Springs which was beautiful! Then while we started dinner it rained, again we became prisoners of our camp trailers.
The next time the rain slowed down we quickly loaded up and went home. No regrets because it rained all that night and into Monday.
So I attempted to make popcorn over the fire...next time I will just use our stove!

Even though it was rainy and muddy and we spent the rest of our labor day holiday cleaning out the freaking camper, it was still fun! Thanks for inviting us!
