So my family was over today for Mother's day and they spread the contagious blogging my way! So be prepared for the noobster, I hear I will be on a lot in the beginning.
Speaking of Mother's Day, today went really well. It was definitely hard going to see my Mom on the first Mother's Day since she passed away. But the kids were really strong and the feeling was very peaceful.
Later my Dad's side of the family came over for dinner. The food was great but the company was even better, there was lots of love and support for us on this day. My step-mom Sharon was great because she knew exactly how it felt to be without your mom on Mother's day.
The kids ran themselves and their Grandpa Joel to death, there was no complaining about bedtime tonight!! :)
