For spring break we went to Glenwood Springs, CO. We had heard it was a fun little town... I think we stayed one day too long though, we got a little bored. Nichole went to our Grandma's house where she had some much needed bonding and R&R.
We stayed at a hotel with an indoor water park. So as soon as the suitcases were in the room and dinner in their bellies the kids were in swimsuits! They couldn't wait to swim!
Our first day started with a great breakfast at the hotel and a hike to Doc Hollidays Grave.
It was an easy trail, hence the smiling faces.
We then drove down to Aspen where it was off season winter wonderland. We enjoyed it from the car and a quick stop at a cute restaurant for a bowl of Chili and a piece of chocolate cake!
After Aspen we went back to spring in Glenwood and to the world's largest hot springs where we failed to take pictures because it was just too cold to get out of the pool!
Saturday we went to the train museum, one room, without an actual train.... Chandler liked it!
The kids loved just going to the park! Why did we leave home? That night we had pizza and swam some more at the hotel.
It was a nice family trip... until on the way home, Aspen threw up all over everyone in the car ... :)
